First week of Bar review is over. I tried to do Friday's class at home. That was an epic failure. I ended up doing Friday's class on Saturday and did absolutely nothing on Friday. Well, unless you count selling my books on Amazon for over $150 nothing. But as far as studying goes, I guess that would be nothing.
There are different levels of anxiety in my Barbri class. I'm starting to realize why some people stop going to class and simply do it on their own at home. I might do that several times a week, but instead of doing it at home I'll do it at the library in my study carrel. I went over to the library today and cleaned and set up my carrel for future study sessions. It's in a secluded corner of the second floor, and it's very quiet there. No window to the outside world and no window to the inside world. No television to distract me and no wanting to go to the refrigerator every five minutes. Being in the library actually motivated me to want to study more.
So at the end of week one, I feel like I learned some valuable lessons about time management, as well as realizing that I don't remember that much from my first year.
But no matter what, I have to remember that it's only the beginning and things are bound to get worse.
